GEA Bock becomes Bock GmbH

The time has come: the complete spin-off of GEA Bock GmbH from the GEA Group has finally been completed since February 26, 2021. We now operate as an independent company under the new name "BOCK GmbH". Under the motto "color the world of tomorrow", we are now presenting ourselves to the market with a completely renewed image that reflects our many years of expertise in the field of refrigeration and air conditioning technology in a fresh and innovative way. With "The °Clever Art of Cooling", we are focusing on a promise to our customers: to master the "art" of providing innovative, sustainable, state-of-the-art solutions for cooling and air-conditioning that meet our customers' requirements precisely and future-proof - in other words, "°Clever".

For more than 80 years, the name Bock has been synonymous worldwide with top quality and a fresh spirit of innovation. And for a unique product range that offers efficient solutions for a wide variety of requirements in the field of stationary and mobile refrigeration and air conditioning applications, including heat recovery with compressor technology. Together with our customers, partners and around 340 employees worldwide, we want to consistently develop the Bock brand with a view to technology, quality and innovation leadership and take it to the next level of success.

Our suction gas-cooled HG compressors and our air-cooled HA compressors offer a full capacity range of innovative, modern compressor technology with 2, 4, 6 and 8 cylinders. Suitable for both synthetic and HFO refrigerants as well as natural refrigerants such as CO2 and HC. For explosion-risk environments, we are the first manufacturer to offer compressors that are compliant with ATEX/IE-CEx requirements.

The product range of the single and two-stage semi-hermetic condensing units includes the air-cooled condensing units SHG, SHA and SHGZ as well as the BOCK Plusbox (modular-designed outdoor condensing unit).

The F model series provides modern open type compressors for separate drive systems (using V belts or direct couplings). Load transfer through a V pair. Virtually all drive capacity requirements can be met.

Semi-hermetic compressors

The semi-hermetic compressors are used for air conditioning of buses, trains and airplanes as well as for transport refrigeration. The aluminum compressors have the lowest weight and smallest dimensions. This product range is available with 2, 4 and 6 cylinders.

Open type FK vehicle compressors

The vehicle compressors of the FK series are the result of decades of experience in mobile refrigeration. Especially in bus air conditioning, they are standard equipment for all well-known manufacturers. Outstanding light weight, compact, robust and a wide speed range are just some of the outstanding features.

HR Compressor

HR Compressor

With the StarCO2mpressor, BOCK has developed a new milestone for mobile CO2 applications. The core of the HR compressors is their innovative "star" driving gear design. This is based on radial piston technology, which is specially designed for transcritical use with the natural refrigerant CO2 (R744).
