Innovative and with an eye on the future, Bock has been investing for years in the development of compressors with natural refrigerants that are efficient and durable and therefore sustainable. Especially in the field of CO2, Bock is rapidly gaining ground. A lot of patents for new product launches and product optimisations are filed almost every year.
Bock compressors offer clever refrigeration and air conditioning or mobile heating solutions for planners, investors, and operators.
Bock reciprocating compressors are indispensable in the field of refrigeration and air-conditioning technology, industrial and commercial refrigeration technology, in the field of heat pumps or even on naval vessels and are a well-known brand that stands for quality and progress.
It is important to us to offer our customers state-of-the-art solutions that precisely meet the requirements and needs of the respective customer project.
One of the most important guarantees of success for us is personal contact with the customer at eye level. The business relationship is seen and lived as a partnership, with individual, special, and sometimes challenging solutions and projects being realised together. Growth on both sides and mutual inspiration become possible and can be implemented successfully.
We see this as a great benefit, and it encourages us to go the extra mile every day and to think "out of the box". For us, this is the cornerstone for motivation and further development at all levels.
We stand up for what we do because we want to make the world a little bit better, or at least contribute to it. Because refrigeration technology is indispensable everywhere in modern life today. In food refrigeration, in supermarkets, in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, for cooling and heating buses and trains or in maritime environments. About 15 million people are employed in the refrigeration industry and about 5 billion refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems are currently in operation.
Promoting young talents and a good transfer of knowledge is also an important part of our vocation. With online and in-house training, together with our partner Danfoss, in the field of education and with helpful tools to make the best use of our compressors, we want to make our contribution to a better tomorrow. According to the motto "colour the world of tomorrow".
Functionality, economy, climate protection, people, and progress - for us, these go hand in hand at Bock.
In other words: The °Clever Art of Cooling. As we like to say.
Bock GmbH, headquartered in Germany, in Frickenhausen, Baden-Würrtemberg near Stuttgart, was founded in 1932 by Willhelm Bock and Hans Göldner in Stuttgart. The two founders started out repairing refrigerators and cooling systems and began producing open piston compressors in 1935. The foundation for today's success story of Bock GmbH as a compressor manufacturer and innovation pioneer in industrial and commercial refrigeration technology was thus already laid back then.
