Bock GmbH, headquartered in Germany, in Frickenhausen, Baden-Würrtemberg near Stuttgart, was founded in 1932 by Willhelm Bock and Hans Göldner in Stuttgart. The two founders started out repairing refrigerators and cooling systems and began producing open piston compressors in 1935. The foundation for today's success story of Bock GmbH as a compressor manufacturer and innovation pioneer in industrial and commercial refrigeration technology was thus already laid back then.

History with future - almost 90 years of company history

2021 GEA Group sells Bock to financial investor NORD Holding and becomes independent again
